Punt Road Wines is a prominent family owned estate located in Coldstream, within the heart of the Yarra Valley. The site carries a rich history dating back to original vine plantings in 1860. Today, the Napoleone family manages the property, with the third and fourth generations actively farming the 58 hectare estate. Their primary focus is on crafting wines that serve as a clear expression of the unique Coldstream cool climate terroir.

The vineyard produces an impressive range of varieties including Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, and Gamay. The winemaking team adopts a minimal intervention philosophy, allowing the fruit, the specific season, and the character of the site to take centre stage. By harvesting based on optimal flavour and acidity and using modest oak to support the wine’s natural structure, they ensure quality is maintained at every stage of production.

The cellar door experience at Punt Road is famously welcoming and versatile. Guests can enjoy seated tastings, expertly curated food and wine pairings, or a more casual afternoon with offerings from the on site Picnic Pantry. The estate features beautiful gardens, expansive lawns, and a marquee bar, creating a family friendly atmosphere complete with lawn games. They are also proud to be a dog friendly venue for pets on a leash.
