Please note: Timings vary seasonally with the sunrise. We will confirm your exact pick-up time 24 hours prior to departure.

We’ll collect you from your Melbourne CBD hotel (or approx. 4:45 am for Yarra Valley residents) for a comfortable transfer to the launch site.

As the first light touches the valley, board your balloon for a peaceful flight. Drifting at 3,000 feet, you’ll witness panoramic views of the Yarra River, the Dandenong Ranges, and the region’s world-famous vineyards bathed in golden light.

Celebrate your successful landing with a hearty cooked breakfast and a glass of sparkling wine at a local estate, such as Balgownie Estate or Chateau Yering.

After breakfast, your private wine tour begins. We start at Greenstone Vineyard, where you can enjoy 180-degree views of the valley while sampling a flight of cool-climate varietals, including their renowned Sangiovese and Shiraz.

Next, we visit the newly opened, striking cellar door at Punt Road Wines. This session includes a premium tasting of their award-winning range—celebrated for producing some of the valley’s best Cabernet Sauvignon—paired with a selection of local cheeses to prepare your palate for lunch.

Time for a sophisticated two-course lunch at Steels Gate Wines. Choose from a seasonal menu featuring ingredients from their onsite kitchen garden, paired with a glass of their elegant estate wine. During your meal, you’ll also enjoy a seated tasting of their full range.

With the morning’s flight and a day of fine wine behind you, relax in our premium vehicle as we begin the return journey to your nominated drop-off point.
