Domaine Chandon Australia is a world renowned sparkling wine house established in 1986 by the iconic French Champagne maker Moët & Chandon. Situated on the Maroondah Highway in Coldstream, the estate is located on Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung country and is just an hour from Melbourne. They specialise in producing high quality sparkling wines using the traditional method with classic varieties such as Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Meunier. While they also craft an impressive range of still wines, their vibrant sparkling expressions remain the primary focus of the estate.

About Chandon

The heart of the property is the Green Point vineyard, which was established in 1987. Its east facing slopes and sandy clay loam soils benefit from warm days and cool nights, resulting in wines with exceptional freshness and acidity. To ensure a diverse range of flavours and terroir expression, Chandon also sources premium fruit from high altitude vineyards in the Strathbogie Ranges and the Whitlands Plateau.

Visitors to the estate are treated to a premium cellar door experience featuring guided tastings, wine flights, and gourmet share plates at the Greenpoint Brasserie and lounge bar. The architecture is designed to maximise the breathtaking views over the rolling vineyards and the distant Yarra Ranges.
