The estate features two distinct vineyard locations that provide the foundation for its exceptional wine range. The original Home Block at Steels Creek was established in the late 1970s on an undulating slope 230 metres above sea level, featuring friable grey loam soils. This block is dry grown and hand nurtured, primarily producing high quality Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The second site, the Melba Block in Dixons Creek, was planted in the early 1980s at an elevation of 150 metres.

The winery is committed to sustainable viticulture and a minimal intervention philosophy, focusing on crafting elegant wines that are a true reflection of the cool climate terroir. While Chardonnay and Pinot Noir remain central to their identity, the range has expanded to include Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot, which often feature in their exclusive single barrel releases.

Beyond the wine, the on site restaurant offers a premium dining experience. The seasonal menu is inspired by the estate’s own kitchen garden and the abundance of the Yarra Valley, served in a beautiful dining room overlooking the vines and local bushland.
