Zonzo Estate

Zonzo Estate is a celebrated family owned winery, restaurant, and working farm located just two kilometres west of Yarra Glen. Since its establishment around 2007, Zonzo has evolved from a popular restaurant at the historic Train Trak Vineyard into a full scale wine label with a simple mission to provide friends with the best possible drop. The expansive 230 acre property features 45 acres of mature vines set against the rolling hills shaped by the nearby Yarra River.

About Zonzo Estate

The winemaking team, led by Caroline Mooney, operates out of a sophisticated winery equipped with sustainable technologies including solar power, rainwater recycling, and Swiss cooling systems. Their custom designed tanks allow for meticulous small batch production. The wine list features Yarra Valley staples like Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Shiraz, alongside an exciting “Scoperta” range launched in 2021 that highlights Italian and experimental varieties such as Barbera, Nebbiolo, Sangiovese, Fiano, and Pecorino.

The heart of the estate is its famous Italian style restaurant, housed in a charmingly converted milking shed. Known for its honest approach to food, the kitchen serves up authentic woodfired pizzas and handmade pastas designed for shared tables and social gatherings. With its rustic atmosphere, picturesque vineyard views, and wide open lawns, Zonzo offers a relaxed environment that is perfect for families and groups. It is also highly regarded as one of the region’s premier wedding and events destinations, offering a truly immersive Yarra Valley experience.
